StudyForge Privacy Policy

StudyForge is built by Onmind Studios on a core commitment: your study materials, lecture slides, and notes belong strictly to you. This policy outlines how StudyForge protects your privacy.

The short version

• StudyForge runs entirely on your device. We do not operate servers that ingest your study materials or deck contents.
• There is no account requirement and no registration process.
• We collect no telemetry, use zero third-party analytics, and do not track user behavior.
• Automatic flashcard generation from PDFs uses Apple Intelligence running on your Neural Engine — zero cloud AI services are involved.

How StudyForge works

The FSRS-4.5 spaced repetition scheduler computes review intervals locally using Swift algorithms. When you import PDFs or documents to generate quizzes, text extraction and question generation happen 100% on device using Apple's Foundation Models framework. Your textbooks and notes are never uploaded to any remote server.

Sync & Storage

Your flashcards, decks, review history, and statistics are stored in your device's local application container. If enabled, deck sync between your devices relies solely on your private Apple iCloud account via CloudKit — end-to-end encrypted by Apple, never readable by Onmind Studios.

Purchases

StudyForge is a one-time purchase on the App Store. All payment processing is managed by Apple. We never see or store your payment card details.
