Pixel Pumice Privacy Policy

The short version

Pixel Pumice processes your photos and videos entirely on your device. We do not collect or receive personal data through the app.

Data collection

Pixel Pumice has no developer-operated accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or media-upload service. It does not transmit your photos, videos, filenames, app activity, device identifiers, or other personal data to us. A processed result leaves the app only when you explicitly choose a destination through a system share, export, or save action.

Apple may independently process App Store, platform analytics, or crash information under Apple's privacy policies and your device settings. That Apple-controlled processing is not performed by Pixel Pumice.

Local media handling and retention

When you select a photo or video, Pixel Pumice copies it into the app's protected local sandbox solely to analyze it and create a separate processed copy. The original is never overwritten.

• Replacing the selected item or choosing Discard Local Copy deletes the app's active working files.
• If the app stops before cleanup finishes, it attempts cleanup again the next time it launches.
• Deleting the app removes its remaining sandboxed files through iOS.

Photos, Files, sharing, and export

The system Photos and Files pickers let you choose media without granting the app broad library access. Saving to Photos requests add-only permission. When you choose Share, Export, or Save, the processed result is sent only to the destination you selected. Apple services or another selected destination may store, sync, or process that file under their own terms and your settings. Pixel Pumice does not control those user-directed destinations.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It includes locally bundled calibration resources derived from an MIT-licensed open-source project; those resources execute without contacting that project or any third-party service.

Your choices and deletion

You can discard the active local copy in the app, change Photos permission in iOS Settings, and delete the app to remove all app-held data. Because we do not receive your media or personal data through the app, there is no developer-held account data to access or delete.
